Bluewhite Linux 12.2 LiveDVD Just Landed!

I have the joy announcing the Bluewhite Linux 12.2 LiveDVD stable version is ready for download!

Bluewhite Linux LiveDVD reached version 12.2 and includes almost all programs from the Bluewhite Linux Install DVD, and packages made by the Bluewhite Linux community. The LiveDVD is designed to run on a single or multi core AMD64 and Intel EM64T servers and workstations.

Since the Bluewhite Linux 12.2-BETA LiveDVD, we have added new packages and updated some of the already installed ones which fix one or more security issues. The LiveDVD is powered by the Linux Kernel 2.6.27.10 with advanced features and optimized for performance. Also, you will find, the default window manager, the award winning K Desktop Environment version 4.2; the Mozilla Firefox 3.0.6 and Seamonkey 1.1.14 (including Flash and 64-bit Java plugins), the Mozilla Thunderbird and K-mail e-mail clients, the OpenOffice 3.0 suite, newly added Extreme Tux Racer, Battle for Wesnoth, Super Tux games; Blender – open source, cross platform suite of tools for 3D creation; the IA32 Emulation to run 32-bit programs; Eclipse – Java Development Tools, and Plug-in Development Environment; ALICE managers to easily configure your operating system; BW64Installer to install the Bluewhite Linux 12.2 LiveDVD on to your HDD and many more.
